1.  Alice in Borderland

As more time elapses, the robbers prepare for a showdown with the police.

3. Stranger Things

There is nothing like Stranger Things right now. The Duffer Brothers' nostalgic coming-of-age series is rooted in the 1980s and references a host of iconic tropes in horror, science-fiction, and mystery.  Set in a small town in Indiana, the first season begins with the disappearance of a young boy, Will Byers.  As his mother, Joyce, the sheriff, and his friends start to investigate what happens, it seems that there’s something much more sinister than any of them expected.

4. Sex Education 

 It's one of those brilliant shows on Netflix you're bound to love everyone in and everything about!  Several of us probably started watching it without any particular expectations, but we were pleasantly surprised by it. Sex Education is hilarious to the bone, shockingly honest, and completely touching. The characters, the relationships they share, the plot, the cinematography, and that dry sense of British humour, there's nothing in this show that won't leave you with a wide, wide smile. 

5. Squid Game

We're just weeks away from the launch of Squid Game 3 – the final season of the world-conquering Korean survival thriller.  As a result, now is the ideal time to either begin a comprehensive rewatch or, if you haven't seen the show yet, catch up. As Lee Jung-jae's cash-strapped Gi-hun participates in a series of games to win a significant cash prize, the first season lives up to the hype. The only issue is that these games are dangerous. It's an old concept, but Squid Game's empathetic characters, terrifying set pieces, and a couple of smart twists make this a show for the ages.

 Season 2 launched late last year and was less surefooted in its early episodes.  However, by the time it reached its epic cliffhanger, the excitement was fully restored. With just a few more episodes to go before the final end of the series, there's everything to play for.
